The System
Considered to be the ‘Rolls Royce’ of Colonic Hydrotherapy Systems, The LIBBE is the most private, efficient and dignified method to thoroughly cleanse the bowels.
As opposed to many other Colon Hydrotherapy practices in Britain, as they still utilise old fashioned equipment that requires a therapist to insert a significantly larger rectal speculum for the client, and be present throughout the whole treatment.
With the LIBBE however, privacy and personal hygiene are maintained at all times; the bed is specially designed so it allows you to simply insert the ‘pencil thin’ rectal tube by yourself and then enjoy. Clients are offered a relaxing, safe and comfortable treatment.

What Happens?
Before the treatment your therapist will take a detailed case history from you, this will be followed by an explanation of the procedure so you feel confident and completely relaxed. The treatment will last 30-45 minutes, It is best to avoid food or drinks for at least 2 hours prior to your treatment although if you are considering a cleansing program the therapist may suggest a diet plan. I would also recommend that you eat vegetable soup following the treatment along with plenty of water.
During the treatment your colon will gently take in as much water as it can tolerate.
Because of the continuous inflow and release during the treatment, the body's own muscles are used to provide a more natural, gentle release. At the same time, the peristalsis (action of the muscles of the colon) is greatly stimulated and this provides an excellent workout for the colon. Because of the nature of the LIBBE device, the therapist does not need to be there with you all the time. This affords you as much privacy as you may desire.
You will then feel the sensation that you need to release and your waste will leave and enter the system. An illuminated viewing tube allows you to clearly see your waste flowing away as the body eliminates it. The cleanse will not be to be interrupted once the water flow is turned on.
